Over his 25-plus-year career, Steve Lines and his team have helped thousands of homeowners purchase their homes in Arizona. He is the owner of Lender Express Mortgage, an award-winning, multi-state mortgage brokerage that offers a full range of mortgage products.

Steve started his lending career in 1996. He worked as a bilingual mortgage loan officer at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage while attending Arizona State University. After graduating from ASU with a degree in accounting, Steve worked as an Auditor with the Big 4 accounting firm Ernst & Young in their Assurance and Advisory Business Services division in Phoenix.

While at Ernst & Young, Steve obtained his mortgage broker license to originate loans on the side while his wife was taking a break from the working world to take care of their second baby. After a few months, he recognized the value of leaving public accounting and dedicating himself to a career as a mortgage professional providing mortgage loans for both English- and Spanish-speaking clients.

Throughout his career, Steve has enjoyed assisting homebuyers and homeowners obtain the best financing options available while leading top-producing origination teams.  He takes pride in his ability to foresee potential obstacles in the loan approval process and deal with them before they become a potential challenge for homebuyers. It is his mission to keep at bay any potential stress, frustration and anxiety that compromises the joy of the homebuying experience.

Steve is married with three daughters. While in his personal time, you’ll probably find him attending his daughters’ volleyball games.
